Article 47 — Performance
- The debtor must perform the obligation at the time, place, and in the manner stipulated by the contract.
- In the absence of stipulation, performance is due within a reasonable time, at the domicile of the debtor, and in the manner consistent with good faith and the nature of the obligation.
- The creditor is bound to accept performance that conforms to the contract. Unjustified refusal to accept conforming performance discharges the debtor from liability for delay.
- Where the contract does not fix a time for performance, either party may require performance upon giving reasonable notice.
