Article 60 — Recognition of Foreign Juridical Acts
- A juridical act validly performed under the law of the jurisdiction in which it was performed is recognised as valid in Kaharagia, provided that:
- The act does not contravene the public order of Kaharagia.
- The act is authenticated in the manner required by the law of the place of performance, or by apostille, legalisation, or consular certification.
- Foreign civil status events, including births, marriages, divorces, and deaths, are recognised upon registration in the civil status register in accordance with Article 7 of this Code.
- Recognition does not confer greater rights than the person would enjoy under Kaharagian law had the act been performed under this Code.
