Article II — Application and Interpretation

1. 1.

   Subject always to the Fundamental Laws and Principles of Kaharagia, the Criminal Code of Kaharagia shall govern criminal liability, offences against persons, property, public order, and the State, and the sanctions applicable thereto.

2. 2.

   All existing laws, decrees, regulations, and other instruments shall be interpreted and applied consistently with the Criminal Code of Kaharagia and shall have no force to the extent of any inconsistency.

3. 3.

   The authenticated text of the Criminal Code of Kaharagia shall be maintained by the Royal Chancellery and reproduced in KáhaLex without substantive alteration.
