Article 14 — Modes of Loss

   Kaharagian nationality may be lost only:

   1. By voluntary renunciation, in accordance with Article 15.
   2. By deprivation, in accordance with Article 16.

   The loss of nationality by a parent does not, by itself, affect the nationality of the parent’s children, except where expressly provided by decree and in accordance with the best interests of the child.
