Article 11 — Revocability of Delegation

1. 1.

   Delegated authority remains subject to revocation at the pleasure of the Sovereign unless otherwise expressly provided by law.

2. 2.

   Revocation may be express or implied by the grant of inconsistent authority, by removal from office, or by the dissolution or reorganisation of an organ.

3. 3.

   Upon revocation, the delegate shall immediately cease to act; acts purportedly done thereafter have no public effect unless ratified by the Sovereign.

4. 4.

   Where a law expressly conditions revocation, such conditions bind the delegate and organs of State, but shall not be construed as an alienation of sovereignty.

5. 5.

   The Sovereign may at any time resume the direct exercise of any function previously delegated.
