Article 7 — Public Access and Charges

Subject to the requirements of the Data Protection Code and to such limitations as may be prescribed by law for the protection of privacy or of the public interest, the registers maintained under this Act shall be open to public inspection on application to the Chancellery.

The Chancellor may, by general rule, prescribe reasonable fees for the inspection of, and for the issuance of certified copies of entries in, the registers maintained under this Act; such fees shall be paid into the public revenue.
